Day 1 : UK - Vancouver (Canada)

Fly from Manchester to Vancouver and transfer to the Fairmount Waterfront Hotel for a 2-night stay. Tonight meet your fellow guests and Tour Director at a Welcome Dinner. (D)

Day 2 : Vancuover

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver with a local guide then spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Perhaps explore the old cobblestone streets of Gastown, visit the shops in Robson Street, or embark on an optional gondola ride or walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge. (B)

Day 3 : Rocky Mountains

Check out of the hotel and transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer for your two-day journey in GoldLeaf Service. Enjoy the magnificent scenery en-route to Kamloops where you will disembark the train and transfer to a hotel for an overnight stay. (B,L)

Day 4 : Rocky Mountains

Re-board the Rocky Mountaineer and travel through breathtaking scenery including the Spiral Tunnels and Kicking Horse Pass. Leave the train in Banff National Park and check in to the Fairmount Banff Springs Hotel for a 2-night stay. (B,L)

Day 5 : Banff

Today choose from a range of Freedom of Choice excursions in Banff National Park including a helicopter tour of snow-capped peaks and valleys; sightseeing with a local guide; a float trip along the Bow River or a Canadian ice hockey experience. There is also the option to cruise Lake Minnewanka or spend a day relaxing at the Willow Stream Spa. (B,D)

Day 6 : Banff - Lake Louise

A Mountie will tell stories of the iconic Royal Mounted Police then you will enjoy a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Join a guided stroll then continue on to the Fairmont Chateau hotel overlooking the world-famous waters of Lake Louise. (B,D)

Day 7 : Lake Louise - Athabasca Glacier - Jasper

Travel along the spectacular Icefields Parkway with a stop at Athabasca Glacier for an Ice Explorer ride. Journey on to magical Jasper for an overnight stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. (B,D)

Day 8 : Jasper - Blue River - Sun Peaks

Descend through the Canadian Rockies and travel to Blue River for an extraordinary boat trip to look for grizzly and black bears (not available on Apr 27 departure), then in Sun Peaks enjoy an overnight stay at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 9 : Sun Peaks - Whistler

Stop at the picturesque Seton and Duffey lakes, then enjoy an overnight hotel stay The Westin Whistler Resort and Spa in the famous resort town of Whistler. (B,D)

Day 10 : Whistler - Victoria

Travel via Shannon Falls to stunning Horseshoe Bay then take a ferry to Vancouver Island. Travel by coach to Victoria where there is a 2-night hotel stay at the Hotel Grand Pacific. There is the option to fly via seaplane from Whistler to Victoria (extra cost). (B)

Day 11 : Victoria

Explore the beautiful Butchart Gardens before the crowds and relax over breakfast in the original Butchart residence. Discover Victoria's heritage district on a guided tour; go whale-watching; take a seaplane flight; fish for salmon; enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride or take afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Day 12 : Victoria - Vancouver

Travel to Vancouver and board your cruise ship. This evening there is a Sail Away Dinner at the Pinnacle Grill. (B,D)

Day 13 : Inside Passage (Alaska)

Cruise through the magnificent scenery of the Inside Passage. (B,L,D)

Day 14 : Juneau

Explore the town of Juneau, the fascinating capital of Alaska. (B,L,D)

Day 15 : Skagway

Skagway was once renowned as the gateway to the Klondike during the gold rush era. Perhaps pan for gold or view local wildlife (both at own expense). (B,L,D)

Day 16 : Glacier Bay National Park

Discover the stunning World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park and its calving tidewater glaciers. (B,L,D)

Day 17 : Ketchikan

Ketchikan's many colourful shops and houses are built right over the water. Take the opportunity to join a walking tour or visit the Saxman Native Village (both at own expense). (B,L,D)

Day 18 : Inside Passage

Sail through the magnificent Inside Passage and admire the snow-capped peaks, icy glaciers and fascinating marine life. (B,L,D)

Day 19 : Vancouver (Canada) - UK

Disembark ship in Vancouver and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK. (B)

Day 20 : UK

Arrive back in Manchester.
