Day 1 : UK - Phuket (Thailand)
Fly from the UK to Phuket.
Day 2-3 : Phuket
A 2-night hotel stay on Phuket allows ample opportunity to explore the highlights of the island. Phuket is Thailand's largest island and boasts beautiful tropical beaches and traditional villages. There is a melting-pot of cultures to explore, from Chinese shrines to Muslim mosques and Buddhist temples.
Day 4 : Phuket
Embark Star Clipper in Phuket.
Day 5 : Ko Similan (Similan Islands)
The Similian archipelago is considered one of the best diving locations in the world. See the striking boulders on the beaches and keep an eye out for wildlife including crab-eating monkeys and lizards. Please note: Passengers on 16 Nov 2019 and 15 Feb; 28 Mar 2020 departures will visit Ko Miang today. In addition, on all reverse departure dates, passengers will visit Ko Similan or Ko Miang.
Day 6 : Phang Nga Bay - Ko Hong
See the magnificent limestone karsts which rise from the emerald-green waters of Phang Nga Bay. This afternoon, head to Ko Hong island off Krabi.
Day 7 : Ko Adang (Butang archipelago)
Ko Adang lies north of Ko Lipe and is perfect for snorkelling.
Day 8 : Penang (Malaysia)
The island of Penang was part of the Malay sultanate until 1786. Highlights include the Reclining Buddha and the streets of Georgetown, lined with historical buildings, including 19th-century merchant houses.
Day 9 : At sea
Relax on board Star Clipper as you head to Malacca.
Day 10 : Malacca
Malacca was the centre of the Malay world in the 15th and 16th centuries. Today it is a World Heritage Site, home to the ruined Portuguese fort "A Famosa" and St Paul's Church which overlooks the Malacca Strait and Dutch Square.
Days 11-13 : Singapore
Disembark Star Clipper in Singapore and transfer to your hotel for a 2-night stay. The city-state of Singapore was established in 1819 by Sir Stamford Raffles, after whom Singapore's famous hotel is named. Perhaps explore the Colonial District, Little India, the Arab Quarter and Chinatown, visit the modern Gardens by the Bay or discover the 5,000 exotic birds at Jurong Bird Park. Transfer to the airport on Day 13 for the return flight to the UK.
Day 14 : UK
Arrive back in the UK.
