Glide through the scenery of Impressionist painters from magical Paris to the Normandy coast, past storybook chateaux and enchanting medieval towns.

Shimmering in a thousand lights, the legendary sights of Paris dazzle - the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, the Louvre, and Notre-Dame Cathedral dominating the Ile de la Cite.

Highlights of the Seine are Monet's house and garden at Giverny and picturesque Les Andelys, birthplace of the artist Poussin. In ancient Rouen visit the historic old town and the Market Place where Joan of Arc was burnt alive. At the mouth of the River Seine sits Honfleur, a scenic of fishing port barely changed since the 17th century.

Back on board for dinner.

Alternatively, take an optional discovery visit of the Cote Fleurie and Deauville through its villas - authentic masterpieces of architecture. This afternoon will be devoted to the optional guided tour of the Honfleur and Pont l'Eveque. Leave by coach for Pont l'Eveque, a charming Norman city, and take a guided tour including the gardens of the former Dominican convent. Continue with a tasting of the small square-shaped cheese that has carried the town's name since the 12th century. Return to Honfleur for a guided tour on foot. Back to the boat for lunch. An alternative full day optional excursion is available to the Normandy Landing Beaches (must be pre-booked and subject to a minimum of 30 passengers).
