Days 1-2 : UK - Barcelona (Spain)
Fly from the Leeds-Bradford or Manchester to Barcelona and embark your ship. This evening, perhaps take the optional excursion to Poble Espanyol for an evening of Flamenco. The next day, there is an included city tour which takes in the Columbus Monument, Arc de Triomf, and the magnificent neo-Gothic Barcelona Cathedral. Optional excursions are available which include a visit to the impressive Montserrat Abbey and a tour of the Gothic Quarter.
Day 3 : St Tropez or Montpelier (France)
Cruises prior to November 2018 will visit St Tropez, where luxurious yachts moor in the stunning harbour of this former fishing village. During Operation Dragoon, St Tropez was liberated. Ever since, it has been popular with royalty and celebrities. For sailings after November 2018, guests will visit Montpellier which has been a centre of learning for centuries. Day 4 : Marseille
Marseille is the oldest city in France and has a beautiful port, overlooked by two impressive 17th-century fortresses. Perhaps walk along the quay, admire the yachts in the harbour or head to the spectacular church of Notre Dame de la Garde and Palais Longchamp. Alternatively, travel to picturesque Aix-en-Provence with its magnificent boulevards and squares.
Day 5 : Monte Carlo (Monaco)
Spend the full seeing the sights of Monte Carlo, known as the playground for the rich and famous. Explore the medieval quarter, the Prince's Palace of Monaco and St Nicholas Cathedral during an included walking tour. Optional excursions include a visit to the famous perfumeries of Grasse, a helicopter ride over the French Riviera and exclusive tour of Grimaldi Royal Palace. A late stay in port means that you can visit the legendary Casino de Monte Carlo.
Days 6-7 : Livorno (Italy)
Moor in Livorno, gateway to Renaissance Florence and Pisa. Admire the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, the UNESCO-listed Square of Miracles and the Romanesque Pisa Cathedral with its spectacular Byzantine-inspired mosaics on an included tour of Pisa. Optional excursions include a visit to the Renaissance treasures of Florence including Michelangelo's David, the medieval city of Lucca and the Torre a Cenaia estate for a wine tasting.
Day 8 : Rome - UK
Disembark your ship in Rome and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Leeds-Bradford or Manchester
