Day 1 : UK - Paris (France)

Fly from Leeds-Bradford or Manchester to Paris and transfer to the Quai de Grenelle where a CroisiEurope representative will take you to a typical Parisian brasserie for dinner before reaching the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Paris - Nantes

After breakfast, travel by coach to explore the stunning castles of the Loire Valley, including a tour of the extraordinary Château de Chambord. King Francis I built this extraordinary castle as a hunting lodge. Continue on to Chenonceau, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Château de Chenonceau, one of the best-known and most-visited chateaux in the Loire Valley which spans the Cher River and was once home to Catherine de' Medici. Head to Nantes to board the unique paddleboat Loire Princesse, enjoy a welcome cocktail and perhaps join the optional boat tour on the beautiful Erdre river.

Day 3 : Nantes - St Nazaire

Join a guided tour of the medieval city of Nantes and the outstanding Castle of the Dukes of Brittany. This aftenoon, take a tour of Saint Nazaire, visiting Escal’Atlantic to learn more about the history of Norman and French ocean liners, and tour the Saint-Nazaire shipyard (passengers must produce a valid passport in order to gain access to the shipyard). Return to the ship in Saint Nazaire and enjoy an evening of dancing.

Day 4 : St Nazaire - Ancenis

From Ancenis travel along the Muscadet Wine Route to visit vineyards, taste local wines and explore the medieval city of Clisson.

Day 5 : Ancenis - Bouchemaine

Admire the legendary Apocalypse Tapestry in the 13th-century Château d'Angers on a guided tour of Angers, the capital of the historical Anjou province.

Day 6 : Bouchemaine - Ancenis

Today there is a full day excursion to discover more of the Loire Valley’s castles. Enjoy lunch in Villandry and visit Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, the beautiful gardens at Château de Villandry and the fairytale Château d’Ussé, thought to have inspired Charles Perrault when writing Sleeping Beauty. Gala dinner on board this evening.

Day 7 : Nantes - Paris

Disembark Loire Princesse and transfer to your Paris hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Paris - UK

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and transfer to the airport for the return flight to Leeds-Bradford or Manchester.

For navigational reasons the Captain of the ship reserves the right to modify the cruise itinerary. Transfers guaranteed for a minimum of 25 passengers only. Under this amount, we will propose traveling on the train. The stopover in Bouchemaine can be replaced with Chalonnes-sur-Loire.
