Enjoy a cruise along Amsterdam's picturesque canals lined with magnificent buildings, admire the stunning Gothic cathedral in historic Cologne and journey through the dramatic Rhine Gorge past the famous Lorelei Rock.

Visit Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum in the beautiful wine-producing town of Rudesheim and take the opportunity to discover the red-walled castle and Great Vat in picturesque Heidelberg. Continue to Strasbourg, capital of scenic Alsace and tranquil Breisach, home to one of the largest wine cellars in Europe.

Day 1 : UK - Amsterdam (Holland)

Fly from Leeds-Bradford or Manchester to Amsterdam and embark your stylish ship. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner on board. (D)

Day 2 : Amsterdam

Enjoy a canal cruise past stunning homes, the beautiful Skinny Bridge and Anne Frank House, before joining a walk to the Begijnhof area and a city tour which includes the Royal Palace and Westerkerk. (B,L,D)

Day 3 : Cologne (Germany) - Koblenz

Discover Cologne's iconic sights during a guided walking tour, including a visit to the impressive Gothic cathedral. In 2018 there is the option instead to enjoy a Kolsch beer tasting at a local tavern or join the guided bike tour along the Rhine. Time at leisure later. Back on board, the ship sails to Koblenz (except for cruises after October). (B,L,D)

Day 4 : Rudesheim

Admire the breathtaking scenery of the Rhine Gorge and the famous Lorelei Rock before arriving in Rudesheim where there is the option to sample the region's fine wines or enjoy a gondola ride to the impressive Niederwalddenkmal Statue. There is also the opportunity to join a guided bike ride. Later spend time at leisure at the lively Drosselgasse before an evening visit to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. (B,L,D)

Day 5 : Mannheim - Heidelberg

From Mannheim, there is the option to see the sights of Speyer on a city tour or join a half-day excursion to picturesque Heidelberg with its red-walled castle and Great Vat. Alternatively, enjoy a guided hike up the Philosopher's Path for stunning views. (B,L,D)

Day 6 : Strasbourg (France)

In Strasbourg, the beautiful capital of the Alsace region, there are guided tours by bike, coach and on foot which showcase the city's sights including the iconic Astronomical Clock. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B,L,D)

Day 7 : Breisach

Enjoy a walking tour of beautiful Riquewihr or head to Breisach which is home to one of the largest wine cellars in Europe, and charming Freiburg. For those feeling active, there is a guided bike ride through Rheinau woods. (B,L,D)

Day 8 : Basel (Switzerland) - UK

After breakfast, disembark and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Leeds-Bradford or Manchester. (B)
